The Dough Nation pizza truck returns of course with a few twists. This year, they will be serving ice cold, refreshing Kombucha from the beer lines on the truck as well as serving locally-made Jane’s Organic Ice Cream by the cup. This in addition to their pies made to order in an 800 degree wood-fired oven on wheels.
Mother’s Day is this weekend, of course, and we’ve made gifting easy for you by inviting La Petite Occasion (French caramels, including vegan varieties!) and The Copper Faucet Soap Co. as well as botanical artist Michelle Adams(yes, of foraged wreaths fame). Of course, a stop at the Stars of the Meadow tent for May blossoms is a must.
Plantidote returns with their plant-based burgers (golden curry is my fave!) which are so flavorful, dense and surprisingly, well, meaty. Please seek her out and introduce yourself. We’ll be working the market together on Saturday.
No one is more excited about the market opening than Kimberly Patota, our new market manager. Please seek her out and introduce yourself at the market tent. She is so eager to get this party started!
We can’t wait to dust off our colorful café tables for you to gather around and enjoy an empanada or wood-fired mushroom pizza while listening to our live music.
Between our Green Tree textile Recycling bin, and the Take it or Leave it Shed, you can make home recycling a weekly ritual before you enjoy your time at the market. Win-win!
Ursula Hansberry is our musical guest and the Chappaqua Garden Club will be selling plants in the center lawn.
Look for face painting at the market, courtesy of Sari Shaw and, careful, the SPCA will be here with its Westchester Mobile Adoption Unit! You have been forewarned!
And the knife sharpener is very eager to revive those dull blades you’ve been contending with all winter. Don’t forget them at home!
We very literally can’t wait to see you on May 11th.
